Every once in a decade or so we get brilliantly designed cars that create their own identity for the rest of their lives. The Audi R8 is just another example of such exclusivity, what started in 2007 has now become a household name in the supercar class. The 2015 R8 is one of the best supercars one can have for daily drives and with engine options from a V8 to a V10, shared by the lovely Lamborghini Gallardo, the R8 is all ready to cover the roads in burning rubber.
While the R8 relies on the good old natural aspiration for its intakes, the rivals like Mercedes-Benz SL 550 and BMW M6 coupe all have forced induction engines, something that will matter to the technology-centric buyers. Another rival, the Porsche 911 Carrera GTS is relying on their tried and tested 6-cylinder boxer setup.
