2020 Audi RS Q4
It was not long when Audi started testing the RS version of the upcoming 2020 Q4 SUV. The SUV is slated to launch in the coming year with automakers classic five-cylinder turbocharged engine. 2020 Audi RS Q4 is nothing but the twin sibling to the Audi RS Q3, sharing same 2.5-liter engine mated with a dual-clutch transmission and Quattro all-wheel drive.
As per the latest reports, the power output shall be increased to 414 horsepower, in order to make the new generation RS model more competitive among the rival like Mercedes-AMG GLA 45. The test car wearing camouflage is the final production model, which is painted in a very light green color shown from the uncovered area beside the wheel fenders.
The aesthetic revisions for the standard Q4 include the overhauled front and rear ends, deeper side sills, dual exhaust pipes and a set of larger alloy wheels to make the necessary upgrade for the performance brakes. Also, expect Audi Sport to bring a set of carbon rotors integrated to the front axle as an option.
The new RS Q4 will be optimized with both the dual-clutch transmission and the Quattro all-wheel-drive followed by specially tuned adaptive suspension. There will be a bit wide front and rear tracks in comparison to the standard Q4 model. This will help the Coupe-like SUV to cope with uneven pavement and corners.
On the interior front, the 2020 Rs Q4 will be offering body-hugging seats, sharp stitching and RS logos imprinted. This will bring more sporty bits to the driver and passenger. The dashboard is expected to be shared with the Q3 models.
As per some sources, Audi has plans to introduce all-electric Q4 E-Tron concept at the upcoming Geneva Motor Show, alongside the production version of the RS Q3. As of now, we’ll wait for the unveiling of the RS Q4.
