The BMW 540i though has less power, paces up quickly when compared to the others in the class specifically with the Jaguar XF S with the supercharged V6 engine.

Ride and Handling

All the trims of the BMW 5 series are quite smooth to handle and behaves well-mannered even at high speeds. Its steering is fairly stiff, responsive and well weighted. All in all it helps in maneuvering the sedan quite precisely.

Moreover these sedans are very well balanced and don't get off the track so easily. This helps them take turn quickly even in tight corners. Be it the sDrive or the xDrive, they are fun to ride as they give a pretty smooth and comfortable driving experience.

Braking

Though the braking specs of the BMW 5 series are not yet available, all we know for now is that they are pretty quick and ultra-smooth in action.
