The 2020 Buick encore GX is offered in three standard trim levels each offered with two powertrain options. You could either go for a base 1.2L 3-cylinder pumping out 137hp that has been coupled to a CVT or the higher 155hp 1.3L 3-cylinder mill that does the job with a 9-speed automatic. The former only comes in a front-wheel-driven configuration while the latter comes in as AWD from the factory.
