The CT5-V Blackwing is a standalone trim option available in a single option with two different transmission options. A choice between these can only be made after testing both of them after the car comes out in the near future. As of now, it can only be suggested that according to the user’s preference, the 6-speed manual or the 10-speed automatic can be chosen. The CT5-V Blackwing can further be specced up with different exterior and interior packages as well as add-on features according to the need and preference of the customer.

In terms of value provided when compared to the price, the Cadillac CT5-V Blackwing has one of the best features that you will get in this price range. It houses a powerful V8 engine that generates more power than any of its rivals. But, in terms of acceleration, the BMW M5 has one of the best figures in its class followed by AMG E 63 S and Audi. But, when it comes to attaining top speed, the Cadillac again here wins the race by all of its rivals.

How does the 2022 Cadillac CT5-V Blackwing handle?

The ride and handling of this car have been outstanding in its predecessor and it is highly expected that this year it will again get more improvement in this section. The response from its high-performance steering wheel and fast shifting transmission are expected to be slick and smooth. The 19-inch wheels and low-profile tires are expected to provide maximum grip while also helping to improve traction and driving dynamics.

The latest generation Magnetic Ride Control adaptive suspension is said to be scanning the road ahead and under the CT-5 Blackwing up to 1000 times in a second in order to adjust the damping for increased comfort as well as ride quality. This suspension setup could also contribute in eliminating the stiffness that is brought in by the huge wheels and low profile tires, But then a car like this is supposed to deliver a stiff ride for more traction as well as cornering capability. Overall, all of this exceptional tech incorporated into this Blackwing is expected to make it a great handling machine.

2022 Cadillac CT5-V Blackwing Sedan Fuel Economy

The fuel economy of the 2022 Cadillac CT5-V Blackwing cannot be calculated as there aren’t any official efficiency figures available to talk about. But, as it carries a more powerful engine in this class it would be safe to assume that it will burn a little more fuel than others. We won’t get any magical MPG figures in this vehicle but it would be satisfactory enough. All we know now is that the CT5-V will come with a 17.0-gallon fuel tank.
