The 2015 Chevrolet Camaro Coupe has a simple approach towards interior styling than its rivals. All the trims have a full plastic cabin with different kinds of them being used in different areas. For example, the dashboard has soft-touch plastics on the top while the door trims and the lower portions feel slightly rougher. There are a good amount of buttons, except for the LT trims with touchscreen units while huge air conditioning knobs are common throughout the lineup.
Talking about seats, the 2015 Camaro can seat two adults comfortably whereas the rear seats are useful to carry a couple of friends around town. All the trims have sports bucket seats that are wrapped in cloth, except for the 2LT which has leather seating surfaces. The LS trims get a 2-way power seating along with other manual adjustments whereas the LT trims have 8-way power seats on the front where the 2LT has heated seats as standard. The rear seats on all the trims are wrapped in cloth and are a completely split-folding bench.
Other comforts on the inside include a leather-wrapped steering wheel and gear shifter knob with a tinted sunroof as standard on the LT packages. The trunk lid opening is quite small because of its heavy styling on the rear and has a huge load lip which takes some effort for things to be put in. Other storages on the inside include a center armrest storage box, a cubby space in the dash for quick accessories, a fairly-sized glove box, two cup-holders, and big door pockets.

While the Camaro’s competitors have good space, the Mustang dominates it in the front whereas the Challenger has no other rival for its rear room. Dodge’s box-shaped body has also helped out for the cargo capacity and is the best-in-class whereas the Mustang and Camaro offer nearly the same cargo capacity. Meanwhile, the Nissan’s 370Z misses out on the second row, it has an equally good room but a pathetic cargo capacity.
How intuitive is the 2015 Chevrolet Camaro Coupe's infotainment unit?
For 2015, the Chevrolet Camaro LT trims get an 8-inch multicolor touchscreen unit with a good display but hilarious graphics, like an old cartoon. Nevertheless, the touch is very responsive whereas there are sufficient features and connectivity options for it to be a good daily driving vehicle. The LS trims get a simple display that shows all things related to music and air conditioning.
The 2015 Camaro has a rather unique approach towards its driver’s instrument cluster where two extruded squares carry the analog speedometer and tachometer dials whereas a small digital screen in the center displays the odometer, trip meter, and all other dynamics of the car. The first three trims are equipped with a basic 6-speaker audio system that is enough to provide high-quality sound in the cabin, however, the 2LT gets a 245W output premium Boston Acoustics 9-speaker audio system.
