2022 Chevrolet Spark Interior Design, Dimensions, and Comfort
Like its exterior, the 2022 Spark interior looks typical. Although most of the interior is composed of hard plastics, it doesn’t feel cheap. To make it a bit appealing, the interior is decorated with faux aluminum inserts and soft leatherette parts. Coming to the dashboard, it comes with a hexagonal console that houses a 7-inch touchscreen display. The controls are properly labeled and easy to operate. Moreover, all the trims come with a single-zone manual climate control unit and a three-spoke faux leather-trimmed steering wheel. Opting for the higher trims will also get you a leather-wrapped steering wheel with metal accents.
As standard, it can only seat four people in two rows. The base trims LS and 1LT both come with cloth upholstery. The Activ and 2LT trims come standard with leatherette-appointed seats. However, all the trims get a pair of manually-adjustable front bucket seats; there is no option for power-adjustable seats. The Activ and 2LT also come with heated front seats as standard. Coming to the rear, you get a 60/40 folding rear bench seat with adequate cushioning. The rear row may feel cramped due to less legroom. The ride quality feels balanced but ambient road noise creeps in owing to lack of sound insulation. Overall, the 2022 Spark comes with a family-friendly interior that is respectable for the price tag.

Moreover, Rio offers the most interior space. On the other hand, the interior of the Mirage is simple and too basic with little to no features whatsoever.

Additional Interior Storage Spaces
At the front, you get a small mobile compartment, a pair of cup holders, a lockable glove box, and door bins. The rear row comes with two cup holders, seat back map pockets, a cargo shelf under the seats, and door bins.
2022 Chevrolet Spark Creature Comforts
Despite being Chevy's most affordable offering, the 2022 Spark comes packed with a respectable set of features. As standard, you get cloth seats, a pair of manually-adjustable front bucket seats, monochromatic MID, a three-spoke steering wheel and 60/40 folding rear bench seats. Opting for the 1LT adds a multi-function steering wheel, power windows and remote keyless entry. The Activ trim adds synthetic leather upholstery, heated front seats, and a leather-wrapped steering wheel. The top end 2LT adds push-button start and chrome accents over the Activ trim.
Verdict
The 2022 Chevrolet Spark’s interior looks and feels decent for a family of four. The seats are covered with good-quality cloth or leatherette upholstery. The front row offers adequate space and comfort but the rear row feels cramped. You also get a decent infotainment system for the price tag. Moreover, you get a small cargo trunk that can store a couple of small bags and other small items. Overall, the interior is great for the price.
