Ford always has a strong reputation for making stylish and sensible SUVs, the Ford Edge is definitely on the top of their list when it comes to making affordable and great value-for-money SUVs. However, in this review, we are going to talk about the Ford Edge ST which is the performance version of the Ford Edge. The Ford ST trim comes with a massive V6 engine that kicks out a colossal amount of power output. Moreover, it comes with an unblemished design with the right mix of sportiness and elegance. Also, it offers tremendous space for passengers and your luggage as well. Despite having a mighty V6 engine, it still delivers fuel efficiency figures that are on par with the rivals and is also very quiet at high speeds, unlike some other SUVs in the segment.
On the flip side, the interior is not as good-looking as the exterior and kind of feels quaint and unexciting except for the vertical infotainment touchscreen on the center. The transmission, on the other hand, feels a bit sluggish and slightly less responsive. Also, the ride quality is stiff over bumps and potholes. For 2022, it is expected to have a new wheel design, noise-canceling tech, slight upgrades in the infotainment system and some revamps in the interior. Moreover, it has some key competitors such as the Chevrolet Blazer RS, Nissan Murano, and Jeep Grand Cherokee.
