The latest Ford F-150 received a redesign for the 2021 model and the gas-powered version will be a carry-over model for 2022. The big news for the 2022 F-150 is a new all-electric version, named F-150 Lightning, but that will be available only in crew-cab. For the 2022 F-150 Regular Cab, Ford offers a few changes including new colors and package options. The 2022 Ford F-150 Regular cab version is available only on two trims - XL and XLT with prices starting at an MSRP of $29,640 for the short bed, V6, and rear-wheel-drive version. A high-performance version of the Raptor, popularly known as Raptor R, is set to join the 2022 Ford F-150 lineup and compete against Ram TRX.

The F-150 Regular Cab will continue to offer the same 290 hp 3.3L V6 and can tow up to 5,000 pounds in its base configuration. The 3.0-liter Power Stroke diesel engine is no longer available. The interior will continue with a utilitarian look and will include a split-bench seat with cloth upholstery and an 8-inch touchscreen with Sync 4. For those who are looking to stand out with their F-150 regular cab, the 11 color options are expected to continue. That said, it will come into direct competition to Chevrolet Silverado 1500 Regular Cab, Ram 1500 Classic Regular cab, and the GMC Sierra 1500 Regular Cab.

2022 Ford F-150 Regular Cab vs 2021 GMC Sierra 1500 regular Cab

The 2022 GMC Sierra 1500 Regular Cab has better interior features, more interior space, better towing in its base configuration as well. However, the Ford F-150 does offer a better fuel economy, choices of more powerful engines and even a choice of two-bed lengths perfectly suited to your needs. Additionally, the Ford F-150 is a bit more affordable too.

2022 GMC Sierra 1500 regular Cab

2022 Ford F-150 Regular Cab vs 2021 Chevrolet Silverado 1500 Regular Cab

The 2021 Chevrolet Silverado 1500 takes a tough beating when compared to the Ford as the F-150 looks better, performs better, and certainly has a better fuel economy when compared to the Silverado. F-150’s infotainment system is also better along with offering a choice of pick-up bed lengths making the F-150 a better option. However, as it is similarly priced it does round up to which one you like.

2022 Chevrolet Silverado 1500 Regular Cab

2022 Ford F-150 Regular Cab vs 2021 RAM 1500 Classic Regular Cab

The Ram 1500 makes more power but does lose out in performance, however, offers more in towing capacity and driving range. Ram is known for building one of the best interiors in the pick-up truck segment, but you will see that on higher trims in crew cabs on Rams. That said, the Ram 1500 classic is a bit cheaper than the Ford F-150.

Great for work but not the best driving vehicle

Pros - Massive storage bed, Modern exterior looks, Great supportive seats.

Cons - Lackluster cabin, Bumpy ride, Limited cabin storage.

Uncomfortable rides As a farmer, its very important to have a constant supply of produce from my farm in order to sustain and for that I need the right equipment. My farming tools are all great and what I needed was a vehicle to transport the goods from my farm to the local vendors and markets. The F-150 seems like a great choice for the farm and the 8ft bed can accommodate a lot of crates but when there isn’t anything loaded on the bed, the whole drive gets bumpy and disturbing but thanks to the comfortable seats as it e...

comfortable, quiet and capable pickup

Pros - Incredible utility, outstanding towing and hauling capabilities, engine delivers balanced power and good fuel economy.

Cons - At times the ride quality is quite rough with an empty bed.

A heavy duty workhorse My new F-150 outperforms the competition in every way. It's cosy, quiet, and capable. Millions of owners are not mistaken. It's straightforward and traditional, utilitarian but not boring. Although with an empty bed the ride quality seems to be quite rough, it has the strength to tow and move huge goods while still providing a plethora of luxury and technology options. The combination makes it one of the most flexible trucks available, and it helps to justify the F-Series' position as the market's b...

A Perfect fit for my business!

Pros - *High payload capacity *Broad cargo bed *Powerful drivetrain *Smooth auto transmission

Cons - *Firm ride without loads *Noisy rides on highways

Powerful and fuel-efficient rides I'm usually a solitary driver and bought the F-150 regular cab for my commercial business since I don't require the rear seats. It fits perfectly and the cargo bed can haul more loads than assumed. The drivetrain is powerful and the 6-speed auto transmission shifts on time and makes my driving experience uncomplicated. Despite being mounted with a powerful V6 engine, Ford managed this pickup truck fuel efficient and I'm satisfied with the 22mpg it renders. I had the pleasure of deal...
