Detailed Review

Ford F-150 has always been that first name in America when it comes to truck that gets the work done and can also handle the family chores equally well. Especially with the Super Cab version it can haul loads and family with great space and ease. 2017 version is the best of its all iterations.

All the luxury and added niceties have sprung this Ford into an even higher realm of the truck world. Unfortunately, the price tag has seen a nudge too but, the 2017 Ford F-150 still appears destined to remain on the top spot for some time to come.

8.9/10
“The 2017 Ford F-150's venerable 5.0-liter V8 isn't as quick as the 3.5-liter EcoBoost, but it's still got enough thrust to support an attractive tow rating. The basic goodness of the chassis and driving experience stays the same no matter which engine you buy.” –Edmunds.com

When it comes to rapid acceleration, pick-up trucks are the last thing that you associate it with. The Ford F-150 is certainly not a road scorcher but it is not a slouch either. The truck does a 0 to 60 mph run in 7.3 second flat which is certainly considerate at the very least.

2017 Ford F-150 SuperCab Competition

Vs. Nissan Titan

The Nissan Titan is a full-sized heavy duty truck from the oriental car makers. The car certainly falls shorts on looks especially when compared to the rivals like the F-150. However, the car features tried and tested rugged V8 engines that are known for their bomb proof reliability and the base price even with options is fairly considerate.

The Nissan Titan is a capable vehicle but it still falls short of the Ford F-150 as a truck overall.

Vs. Chevrolet Silverado

Chevrolet Silverado is one of the more conventional looking trucks amongst the rivals. The vehicle features a rock solid and sturdy built. The cabin is nice to look at and even comfortable for the passengers.

But, the Ford F-150 is certainly the more modern vehicle both inside and outside while the Silverado is a more traditional vehicle.

Vs. Toyota Tundra

Toyota Tundra is one most reliable trucks out there in the market. Th3e interior quality on the truck is far superior to a lot of trucks in the segment. Even when it comes to the looks department. The Toyota looks fairly modern and pleasing to the eye from all the angles.

The Tundra still certainly falls short of the pedigree of the Ford F-150 in terms every possible angle there is.

2017 Ford F-150 SuperCab Final Verdict

Ford F-150 feature a brilliant interior set up and the materials used feel like they come straight out of a luxury sedan. The power stats are also up to the mark. But, with luxury interiors comes luxury prices. The car has the tendency to get real expensive, real fast. There are a lot of trims to choose from and there is certainly at least one that will suit you at your price. So all in all there is little to nothing that can get wrong if you decide to buy this potent pick-up truck.
