For the 2022 model year, the F-250 SuperDuty will get some trim-specific cosmetic upgrades but will remain mechanically unchanged. The prices are expected to increase only by a slight margin but nothing is official yet.

Since the F-250 Regular Cab will see no major upgrades, the trim levels are also expected to remain the same as well. The Regular Cab is offered in the XL and the XLT trim levels along with a standard RWD or a 4WD layout. The powertrain option remains the same for both the trims though, a 6.2-liter V8 motor. If you intend to use the truck strictly for business purposes or you’re a fleet owner, the base XL trim would be the best. The XLT trim, with its handsome list of features, is better suited for personal use.

Since the 2022 Ford F-250 SuperDuty will remain mechanically untouched, the huge 6.2-liter naturally aspirated V8 motor is retained. The powerplant dishes out a healthy 385 horsepower and 430 lb-ft of maximum torque. The powertrain is quite refined for a truck and has a deep V8 “rumble” when you fire it up. Under harsh acceleration, it becomes audible but in a nice manner. With the 430 lb-ft of torque output, the truck can tow a maximum of 15,000 lbs and has a payload capacity of 4,260 lbs.
