The 2022 Ford F-250 SuperDuty SuperCab Diesel comes in 3 trim levels, namely XL, XLT, and the Lariat. The base trim is a work truck and only comes with utterly necessary features like air-conditioning, manually adjustable seats, and almost zero power features. For entertainment purposes, you will get a little LCD screen with AM/FM and MP3 capabilities. Up next comes the XLT trim, which gets instantly better with features like alloy wheels, cloth upholstery, and an 8-inch touch screen with Android Auto and Apple CarPlay.
The best you can get in the SuperCab configuration is the Lariat trim, and it gets all the convenience and luxury features you would want. All the power features like folding mirrors and adjustable seats are part of the standard equipment here along with leather upholstery. A new addition to the Lariat trim is the new 12-inch touch screen which also gets wireless Android Auto & Apple CarPlay. There are a lot of optional packages on this truck, the important ones are listed below the table.

Apart from the standard features, the truck also offers a variety of optional packages. The first one is the 5th wheel/ Gooseneck Hitch ($500) which offers a 7-pin connector on the driver's side of the bed, one frame under-bed cross member, 5 pickup bed attachment points. The Camper package ($150) offers rear auxiliary springs, slide-in camper certification, extra heavy service front suspension. The Trailer Tow package ($2,600) brings lane departure warning, increased gross combined weight to 30,000 lbs, 360-degree parking, front and rear parking sensors, trailer reverse guidance, hitch assist, automatic steering, and brake control. The Heavy-duty alternator for $110 comes with a 377-amp heavy-duty alternator.
Which Trim should you buy?
Getting the base trim only makes sense if you are a business owner with continuous towing or utility needs, otherwise, your family is getting bored inside that cabin. The XLT trim comes sufficiently equipped with features like cloth upholstery and a better infotainment screen. We are set on the safety front with features like auto emergency braking, blind-spot monitors, and trailer brake control. One thing to keep in mind is that we are speaking about the diesel variants, and that alone will add an extra of 10 grand on the final bill excluding taxes and random charges, so plan your optional packages around it.
