The Genesis G70 is available in a total of 4 trims with two engine configurations and a similar number of drivetrain options. The smaller engine with a 2.0L turbocharged inline-4 engine and a 3.3-liter turbocharged V6 engine. Both the engines have the option of either rear-wheel drive or all-wheel drive options. The base trim with a 2L engine and RWD option starts at an MSRP of $39,150 and goes all the way up to $46,750 for the 3.3 V6 AWD trim.
This can further be enhanced by opting for the additional package. The package available for the smaller engine configuration is the “Sports Prestige” and is priced at $ 4,200. The bigger engine gets an option of two packages “Sports Advance” at $ 4,300 and “Sports Prestige” at $ 8,700. We can either opt out by choosing the standard on both configurations. A fully loaded G70 will set you back by $ 55,350.

Genesis offers a lot of safety features on the standard package at no additional cost, which is a significant point to consider as most of the brands offer these features as additional. The standard package only misses out on forward and reverse parking distance warning and rain-sensing wipers. The Sports Prestige package on the 3.3T has a lot of desirable features like the Nappa leather seats and Brembo brakes amongst others, which can allure any car enthusiast. The car is available in 12 exterior colors and 2 or 3 interior themes based on the choice of your exterior colors.
We Recommend
We would definitely recommend going for the fully loaded G70, which is the 3.3L turbocharged V6 engine with the AWD drivetrain. Top it up with the Sports Prestige package and what you have is a luxury performance car, but be sure to take a beating in the fuel efficiency front.
Release Date
While writing this review, the 2023 Genesis G70 is available on their website but the stocks are limited, and getting your hands on one would be difficult at the moment. The company has already switched to producing the 2023 iterations, so we can expect the deliveries to start soon.
