The 2021 Honda Pilot is a carryover model with some major changes and updates both under the hood as well as inside the cabin. The Honda Pilot now comes as standard with the 9-speed automatic transmission, which was only optional in the lower trims till last year. The Pilot also gains a new Special Edition trim which comes with some minor extra features and distinct exterior styling. The rest of the specs of the powertrain as well as the power outputs remain the same.
The 2021 Honda Pilot comes with a 3.5L V6 engine under the hood and with three rows of seating on the inside. The Honda Pilot for this year comes with dual-zone automatic climate control in the base trim as standard, while tri-zone climate control is standard in the next trim and upwards. The pricing starts at $32,250 and climbs more than $50,000 for the high-end trim. The 2021 Honda Pilot compares with the 2021 Mazda CX-9, 2021 Kia Telluride, and the 2021 Chevrolet Traverse.
