The new Sonata arrived with a new exterior styling that included mean headlights along with a chiseled body. The interior design was always ahead of its competitors, and the eighth gen had a similar story. You get a new 10.25-inch touchscreen display and a much more appealing interior. Hyundai also has introduced the new N Line Night Edition and trimmed down the glowing yellow paint from its palette.

The mean and aggressive exterior styling of the 2022 Sonata plays very well with the modern interior design. Step inside and you’ll notice how premium, clean, and spacious the cabin feels. The base trims do get textured plastics, but the flagship Limited trim comes with a leatherette-covered dashboard. The dashboard comes equipped with a parallelogram-shaped touch screen along with slim climate control vents and controls below. Moreover, the Limited trim gets a large 12.3-inch digital instrument cluster and a heated steering wheel.

As standard, the 2022 Sonata can seat five people in two rows. Both the front and rear seats offer adequate head and legroom for uncompromised comfort. The front row comes equipped with a pair of manually-adjustable bucket seats wrapped in cloth upholstery in the SE trim, but the higher trims offer power-adjustable, heated, and ventilated front seats. SEL Plus gets you suede and synthetic leather upholstery and the Limited trim gets you Leather upholstery. 2022 Sonata is the largest among all the midsize sedans here. It offers the most spacious front row but the rear row space is compromised as a consequence. Though the cabin of the Camry is smaller than the Accord’s, the seats of the Camry offer better comfort. Design-wise, the 2022 Sonata impressed us the most.

The 2022 Honda Accord compromises seat space to offer a larger cargo trunk. Hyundai Sonata on the other hand compromised rear row space for extravagant front row space and decent cargo space. 2022 Camry offers a more balanced cabin and cargo space.

The 2022 Sonata is undoubtedly the best in the competition when it comes to interior. It excellently balances between premiumness and practicality. The front seats are power-adjustable, heated, and ventilated and they offer an excellent view of the road. The rear seats offer adequate comfort and are foldable. Additionally, you get respectable cargo space.
