The base and the S trims are composed of a 2.0L Turbocharged I4 engine that generates 247-hp and 269 lb-ft of torque. The R-Dynamic S gets a more powerful turbo I6, while the SVR boasts a V8 engine. All the models drive on the only available all-wheel drive (AWD) architecture and tie the knot with an eight-speed automatic transmission. The engine motivates the car to gain 0-60 mph in 6.9 seconds and it delivers a combined mpg of 24 (22 in the city and 27 on the highway).

The 2023 Macan is the most expensive coupe SUV on our list. It delivers the highest power and amount of torque–which makes it the fastest SUV in its category. The Jaguar costs a bit lesser but also boasts an AWD system like the Porsche. The Volvo XC60 is the most affordable SUV and is an FWD vehicle and has the lowest top speed. The BMW X3 is a bit more costly than Volvo, but it brings an RWD and is faster.
2023 Jaguar F-PACE Ride and Handling
This SUV from Jag is a fun-to-drive vehicle. Historically it has been more towards performance, but with the generations, the ride and handling are more comfortable. With the latest update, the altered suspensions deliver a more soothing drive experience. Around the turns, the F-PACE is quite composed. The seat comfort is great. The steering wheel feels much more responsive and planted. On the roads, the SUV feels very connected. The paddle shifters are nice to handle and do not offer any lag in between. The four-cylinder engine does not feel underpowered. The car gets four different drive modes – the dynamic, the comfort, the eco and the last is rain, ice, and snow mode. The dynamic tightens the suspension and steering to give more aggressive gear shifts in a more responsive throttle. Comfort is a normal daily driving mode. The Eco is there to save your fuel. The rain, ice, and snow mode lessens the acceleration and limits the chance of a spin-off. It has a turning diameter of 39.1 ft. The double wishbone suspension for the front wheels offers better stability on the road because the tires are touching the road more. The multi-link for the rear wheels allows the vehicle to flex more.
2023 Jaguar F-PACE Braking System
The antilock braking system on all four wheels does not create a pulsing sensation under heavy braking. The emergency brake assist system–when the brakes are rapidly applied, automatically boosts the braking force to its maximum which results in bringing the vehicle to a stop as quickly as possible. Electronic parking brakes (EPB) automatically release the park brakes when the driver presses the accelerator or slips the clutch, and reclamp when the vehicle moves. Hill-start Assist briefly holds the vehicle stationary after the brake pedal is released when pulling away uphill.

The 2023 Macan is the heaviest vehicle in the comparison, the Volvo XC60 is the lightest. The 2023 F-PACE has the biggest calipers on the front wheels and is a bit heavier than the Volvo. Looking at the curb weight and the brake rotors, an educated guess concludes the 2023 Jag F-PACE will stop the fastest. The BMW X3 has calipers of the same size on the front and rear wheels. The Volvo has the shortest rotors in its rear wheels.
