The Cadillac CT5 drives the charts with its strongest power output. In second and third place, respectively, is the 2020 Toyota Avalon TRD, while the 2020 Lexus ES 350 F Sport Sedan can be found not far behind with almost identical performance data. The 2020 Alfa Romeo Giulia Ti offers the least amount of power output among all models.

How well does the 2020 Lexus ES 350 F Sport handle?

With this Lexus ES 350 F Sport, you have a truly luxury sedan that looks and drives like a track-oriented car. With the F Sport label, the driving dynamics of this ride are given an added layer of sportiness. The V6 engine under the hood provides plenty of power and responds rapidly to throttle inputs.

There is principally a difference in suspension tuning between a Lexus ES 350 and one with F Sport branding. The F Sport suspension is inclined more towards sport than comfort, in contrast with the regular suspension that is dedicated to comfort. On the back of the ES 350 F Sport is a suspension arrangement that is set at the right stiffness, so you and your family won't feel disturbed on a long trip but can go lightning fast around some mountain corners.

2020 Lexus ES 350 F Sport Braking Performance

In addition to four-wheel power assisted discs, the 2020 ES 350 F-sport is equipped with four sensors and a four-channel ABS. Interior
8.0/10

With the Lexus ES 350 F Sport of 2021, buyers will get to experience premium and high-class elements, at a reasonable price point. In spite of the ES's modest price, the interior of this Lexus is elegant and popping with high-quality materials. Authentic wood and aluminum trim parts, ambient lighting, and semi-aniline leather are available upgrades if you want to enhance the cabin beyond what's standard. In terms of comfort and support, the front sport bolstered seats are unmatched. A soft-touch material covers the dash, and similar fabric covers the door panels and center armrests.

Seating for five is available in the 2020 Lexus ES 350 F Sport. You'll enjoy spending time in the cabin as you take in its quiet atmosphere and well-cushioned seats. Comparatively speaking, the Cadillac XTS has the most cargo space in this comparison, followed by the Toyota Avalon and Lexus ES 350 F Sport. However, the Alfa Romeo Giulia presents the least amount of cargo space. Some of the standout interior features are as follows:

  • Dual-zone automatic climate control unit with pillar, console, and under-seat ducts
  • 12-way power-adjustable driver seat with power lumbar support

  • Heated and ventilated front seats

What’s there to keep you entertained?

A significant update to the technology inside the 2020 Lexus ES 350 F Sport is that it now includes features such as Apple CarPlay and Android Auto. Although Enform offers these helpful features, it is consistently rated as one of the worst interfaces. It's hard to navigate the infotainment menus, an issue made worse by the lack of a touch screen and buttons that can't be distinguished from one another, plus a touchpad that requires extensive attention.

A Wi-Fi hot spot, Siri Eyes Free, and an 8-inch display round out the standard features. In addition to a navigation system with a 12.3-inch display, wireless smartphone charging, and a 17-speaker Mark Levinson surround-sound system, customers can choose upgrades. Some of the highlights of the infotainment system are as follows:

  • Bluetooth
  • Scout GPS Link
  • Lexus 10-speaker premium sound system
  • Satellite Radio
  • Navigation
  • Sirius XM Radio
  • Wireless charger
  • AUX input and USB ports
  • Apple CarPlay & Android Auto
  • Dynamic voice command
  • Lexus Enform Wi-Fi
Exterior
7.0/10

This Lexus ES 350 F Sport presents an enticing treat to the eyes, contrary to its sporting character. A large part of the difference between the ES 350 and ES 350 F Sport is a black mesh grille fronted by larger cooling ducts, one of the few visual differences between the two. F Sport trims are also equipped with 19-inch split 10-spoke alloy wheels for a more aerodynamic ride as well as a rear spoiler for enhanced aerodynamics. The grille and bumper on the front are aggressive and emphasize the sporty attitude of the Lexus. With its angular profile and black meshwork, the spindle grille with black mesh gives the headlight housing with triple beam LED headlamps a serious look.

Competition
8.0/10

2020 Lexus ES 350 F Sport vs 2020 Toyota Avalon TRD

The Toyota Avalon TRD has been the primary competitor of the ES 350 F sport for many years now. There is a similar 3.5 L Naturally Aspirated V6 engine in each of the sedans, which is capable of producing power figures close to one another. With a 0-60 time of 5.9 seconds, both the ES 350 F Sport and Avalon TRd perform similarly. However, both the interior comfort and styling of the Lexus are better than that of the Avalon, as is the price of the Lexus.

2020 Lexus ES 350 F Sport vs 2020 Cadillac XTS FWD

Despite being the most expensive offering in the segment, the Lexus ES 350 faces major competition from the Cadillac XTS. With a price tag of $46,795, the Cadillac XTS offers the highest power output among this group. In contrast, the Cadillac XTS offers a full-fledged luxury sedan equipped with a full-time chauffeur. This makes it a great option for families and those who want to enjoy a long drive. There are a lot of similarities between the XTS and the Cadillac Escalade, but the XTS is bigger and heavier, providing a smoother ride.

2020 Lexus ES 350 F Sport vs 2020 Alfa Romeo Giulia

The Alfa Romeo Giulia doesn't exactly exude excitement on paper, but it's impressive in person. Despite being less powerful than the Lexus ES 350, the Alfa Romeo Giulia is as quick as it is. Moreover, it is also considerably cheaper. On top of that, the Giulia looks better than the ES 350, which is another factor to consider. Although the ES 350 F Sport offers a superior overall package, the Alfa Romeo Giulia is clearly inferior.

Final Verdict
8.2/10

The new Lexus ES 350 F Sport is built for performance and comfort, equipped with a more efficient suspension and improved brakes. This model is considered one of the best in terms of performance. It has remarkable comfortable driving, a modern design, and a powerful engine. Not only that, but it is equipped with active safety features like lane departure assist, pre-collision warning, adaptive cruise control, and more. With a Lexus emblem on the front grille and its interpretation of the brand's spindle grille on its front end, this vehicle offers a refined appearance that will turn heads. The bottom line, it's a great vehicle to own.
