Detailed Review

If you are in the market for a high-end coupe, the Lexus LC500 is unlikely to be on your list. However, with a 5.0L V8 engine producing 471 bhp, an interior blessed with Japanese craftsmanship and quality, and an intriguingly rich exterior, it's a 21st-century grand tourer with no history dragging it down.

Still, if you fancy a European Grand Tourer, the Mercedes S560 comes closest to the Lexus LC500 in philosophy and price. The 911, though similarly priced, is more of a proper lithe sports car with comfort approaching that of a grand tourer.

Prices start at $92,000 for the base LC500 and unlike many European brands, the base sticker price is very indicative of the actual take-home price of the car. Lexus ownership experience and slow depreciation is the icing on the cake.

The LC500 does offer the ride Quality like a luxury car and Handles much of a sports car as the Lexus suggests 'LC' stands for Luxury Coupe, and the LC500 does stand out its name. The Lexus doesn't get as precise handling like the Porsche gets but does get a better ride quality than the Porsche.

Infotainment System

The Lexus does get an 8-inch display digital instrument which shows the vital stats of the car. The center placed 10.3inches display houses the Lexus Enform infotainment system. However, the Infotainment system controls seem to be quite confusing though. The infotainment lacks the support for Android auto and apple car play.

Cargo volume

The Lexus gets a boot space of a mere 5.4 cube. Ft. which isn't much comparing to its rival, the Mercedes gets a boot space which is almost double its space about 10.4 cube. Ft.

There are so many standout features on the LC 500's modern art museum of a body that it's hard to know where to start. The hood is low, long, wide; in profile, its graceful lines soar up and over a perfectly proportioned cabin. -The Drive

Dimensions and Weight

The Lexus gets a length of 187.4 inch, a width of 75.6 inch and a height of 53.0 inch. All of these parameters just signify that the car isn't really as lengthy as the Mercedes nor as small as the Porsche. This makes the Lexus more manageable in city like traffic conditions and round the corners. It gets a ground Clearance of 5.2in., which makes the more stable and better at handling potholes on the roads. Also, the longer wheelbase which is around 113in. make the car pretty stable at high speeds.
