The Lexus NX 300 is the new name for the old Lexus NX 200t with some creative freedom from the Lexus RX 350 design. It’s got some features, and hence fairly ranked above most vehicles in the luxury compact SUV segment. With a luxury touch within the vehicle from fancy features, roomy and classy interior, and good mileage, the SUV is easily a “one size fits all”. Officially, the Lexus SUV has only a single recall and 8 complaints. Some persistent complaints include the accelerator and the overly ambitious infotainment system, which most users find difficult to utilize. The competition for the NX 300 would be the Buick Envision, the Audi Q5, and the Porsche Macan. This article aims to show you the problems that the 2018 Lexus NX 300 faces in a quick glance and whether it’s worth your time.

As for another user, they found the brake couldn’t help them slow down on time when they applied the brakes. No accidents or reasons were provided.

Should you buy the 2018 Lexus 300

The 2018 Lexus NX 300 is not without its problems, with the infotainment system being more of a bane than a boon for multiple users, the brakes being ineffective, and the vehicle accelerating on its own. But with the number of complaints made, it seems the issues are a few and most isolated in numbers. As always, do the bare minimum checking on your SUV before purchase. The 2018 Porsche Macan is a good alternate choice, it’s the Lexus but on steroids; faster, stronger, agile, and posher. But the high ownership cost and tighter back seats compared to the NX 300 is something you also have to bear in mind and consider.
