Expert Review, Pricing Analysis and Buying Guide

Configured with great options like a 3.5L V6 engine, power moonroof, and a 7-inch LCD display, you will be able to sit back in style. It competes against other mainstream luxury crossovers like the Buick Enclave, BMW X3 and Lincoln MKX.

Features
9.0/10

It is better to go for the Standard trim over the F Sport; the rides are neither sporty nor firm. You'll appreciate the luxurious and safety features offered with the base model, but we recommend spending some extra money on the Mark Levinson audio system to make it an immersive experience.

Engine and Performance
8.5/10

A 3.5L V6 engine powers the 2014 Lexus RX 350 lineup, producing 270 horsepower and 248 pound-feet of torque. The engine is mated to an automatic transmission and front-wheel drive, while all-wheel drive is an option. In the F Sport model, the all-wheel drive system and eight-speed automatic transmission are standard.

Performance-wise, the Lexus RX 350 accelerates from 0-60 mph in 6.1 seconds and it runs the quarter mile in 15.1 seconds. The vehicle could reach speeds as high as 131 mph. Combining Lexus's legendary handling and ride quality with improved performance, it offers a high level of driving pleasure.

The Enclave manages the same fuel economy as the MKX, with an average combined mileage of 20 MPG, the lowest in its class. On the other hand, the BMW X3 has the best fuel economy in the segment, rated at 24 miles per gallon, and also has the smallest fuel tank, measuring 17.1 gallons.

Interior
8.7/10

The 2014 Lexus RX 350 interior has an air of luxury. From the jet black leather upholstery to the easy-to-use switchgear, you notice a sense of solidity and build quality that's missing in other vehicles in this class. In addition, the RX350 is quiet inside. The engine is muted, and road noise is low. Overall, the RX350's comfort is impressive.

The spacious interior can comfortably fit 5 people, and although the front seats could use a little more support at times, the rear seats are comfortable and adjustable on a level to suit individual preferences. The lack of a third row might be a disappointment to some users, but rather it allows you to load more gear into your trunk.

Luxurious midsize SUV

Pros - Attractive cabin, plush and quiet ride, comfortable seats, strong engine, ample cargo space, and superb reliability

Cons - Outdated infotainment system.

Comfortable SUV with smooth rides Except for the outdated infotainment system, I don't think I could have chosen a much better SUV than my 2014 Lexus RX 350. This luxury midsize SUV seats me and my 4 kids comfortably, and offers a great mix of refinement, high-end features and one of the most quiet rides at a reasonable price. The service was prompt. The service representative was polite an...

Midsize SUV with the right premium impression

Pros - Plush interior, easy entry and exit, comfortable rear seating and generous standard features.

Cons - Average fuel economy and a frustrating infotainment interface.

Comfortable and reliable midsize SUV. I leased my 2014 Lexus RX 350 in November of last year, so it's been over a year. This luxurious midsize SUV easily seats five people, and I like driving it. The ride is quite peaceful, and the chairs are really comfy. Back seat passengers are delighted with the amount of leg room available. The car is quite reliable. The V6 engine is refined, and the RX's su...

Good car but the value for it is just dying

Pros - Premium drive quality – Top notch cabin materials – Uniform panel gap.

Cons - Small cabin for an SUV – Ugly and confusing dash layout – Depreciates quickly.

Wish I could hold it for longer I got the RX350 last year for $18,850 and when I checked the value of the car recently, it sells around the range of $16k. That's a huge chunk gone in one year and I really want to get rid of this car not because its bad but because I don't want to lose money. As a car, the Lexus is very premium and comfortable and the RX350 seems to be like a vehicle built with gr...
