Ride and Handling

The AMG C63 S is noticeably sturdier over the tough road than the other C Class Cabriolets. The steering on the new C Class series is butter smooth and steady while driving. The 2017 Mercedes C Class offers two driving modes - Normal Drive Mode and Sports Mode.

The steering is light and accurate. The brakes are strong to handle all power that C Class engines offer. The reverse parking sensors and the reverse camera with parktronic active parking system are very good. The visibility and the viewing angles while driving are very good. The handling experience with the C Class Convertible is much better than the last years C Class.

Braking

The car packs Mercedes Standard Torque Vectoring Brake technology with front disk brakes which provides additional control on rear wheel braking. The 2017 C Class Convertible offer 13.0-inch brakes and is much bigger than what competitors offer.

Whereas the Audi TT convertible and the BMW 280i convertible offer 12.3-inch brakes. Porsche 718 Boxster Roadster 13.0 inch brakes same as the C Class.

Even by offering bigger 13.0-inch brakes the C Class convertible stops last when compared with competitors with a distance of 109 feet. Whereas the Audi TT stops at 105 feet, BMW 280i stops at 106 feet. On the other hand, the Porsche 718 Boxster Roadster beats other competitors at 99.8 feet.
