Miranda Leigh Lambert was born on 10th of November 1983 in Longview Texas. The singer was quite early introduced to Country music as her father was a Country-Rock musician. Miranda grew up in with the Country music mindset and initially was a singer without the knowledge of playing guitar. She initially participated in a talent show but quit later as she was offered only Pop songs to sing. She came back to her father and learned to play guitar from him so that she could do her own compositions. She released her first album containing ten songs in 2001.
