With the motive to thrive on competition and push for improvements, Porsche revealed the all-new 718 Cayman GT4 RS Clubsport. It is similar to the previously revealed 718 Cayman GT4 RS road car. The difference is that the new iteration is specced faster and way more powerful, built to deliver IMSA Michelin Pilot Challenge and SRO series performance, generating 500 HP. It'll further borrow its powertrain from the 911 GT3 Cup race car. Available for the North American market, it will come priced at $229,000.

Porsche recently revealed a mid-engine race car along with the 718 Cayman GT4 RS road car, the 718 Cayman GT4 RS Clubsport. Direct from the factory it comes welded in with a roll cage, adjustable Recaro racing seats, six-point racing safety harness, safety nets, fire extinguishers, and a built-in air Jack system with three jacks. Moreover, it also features safety foam based on the requirements of the SRO racing series. Priced at $229,000, and features a 4.0-liter 6 cylinder engine, generating 500 hp and a top speed of 196 MPH.

Porsche claims that after the last three years of the GT4 Clubsport, it gathered significant consumer response and feedback. Referring to the same, they have incorporated several changes in the all-new 718 Cayman GT4. It features front dive planes and an extended front spoiler lip for better downforce on the front end. It also gets wheel arch events inspired by the 911 GT3 R. There are also specific air curtains put into place to reduce the air turbulence around the front wheels. The rear wing is now equipped with a 20 mm long Gurney flap with an adjustable range.
