Robert Bassam is the founder and chief executive officer of Eastern Automotive Group. He is not just a businessman who buys and sells cars for profit, he modifies them and keeps them in a collection that can put any other celebrity car collector to shame.

Robert Bassam is of the most successful businessmen of the century and the fact that he started from a very humble beginning makes his triumph more special. He bought his first car, a second-hand vehicle for just $50 and sold it to his coworkers for an impressive figure of $300. This is when his love for the car business triggered in him at a very early age and he started buying more cars with accumulated money to start a full-fledged business.

He quickly got in touch with the auto financers and made sure to develop his business further. Today he heads an empire of 15 car dealerships in the US and holds positions on the national dealer advisory boards of Kar Auction Services, Capital One Auto Finance, and Cox Automotive. He has operations and modifications of automobiles on multiple warehouses that span over 160,000 square feet. But it is not just his success in the business that caught our attention, the 46-year-old is an avid car collector.
