The 2022 Subaru WRX prices are now final out. The base trim of the new WRX starts at $29,105 and the top-end WRX GT trim starts at $41,895. Except for the GT all the trims can be had with either a six-speed manual or a CVT gearbox while the GT trim only comes with the CVT gearbox. The 2022 WRX comes with a 271 hp, 2.4-liter turbocharged flat-4 engine and rivals the likes of VW Jetta GLI, Hyundai Elantra N, Honda Civic Si, etc

The 2022 Subaru WRX sedan prices are now available. The 2022 WRX comes in four trims base, Premium, Limited, and GT. All the trims also get a choice of manual or an automatic gearbox. The price of the 2022 WRX base model starts at $29,105 when had with the manual gearbox and for the automatic, you need to pay another $1,850. Next, we have the WRX Premium trim that starts at $31,605 and the WRX Premium automatic price starts at $33,655.

The top two trims of the WRX i.e. WRX Limited and WRX GT price starts at $35,995 and $41,895. The WRX GT comes with an automatic gearbox as standard while the WRX Limited automatic price starts at $38,245. The WRX Premium trim when had with the manual gearbox also gets a $1,875 optional package that adds a premium Harman Kardon Speaker and a moonroof. All the above prices except for the price of the optional package are excluding any destination and delivery charges.

The destination and delivery charges are $995 extra for most states while for Alaska it is $1,145. The new Subaru WRX sedan is powered by a 2.4-liter turbocharged flat-4 engine that produces 271 hp and 258 lb-ft of torque. The transmission options you get are either a six-speed manual or a Subaru Performance Transmission (SPT) which is just a fancy name for a continuously variable transmission (CVT). When had with the CVT gearbox WRX has an EPA estimate combined gas mileage of 21 MPG. 

They both are available on all trims except for the GT trim which only comes with the SPT. As standard, all the WRX models come with AWD. For 2022, Subaru has made a lot of structural modifications to the WRX sedan to improve its overall performance as well as handling. The exterior design of the 2022 WRX has been restyled and you get LED headlights, a hood scoop, side skirts, rear spoiler, etc. All these although keeping the WRX exterior look almost similar to the outgoing model but enhance its aggressive looks.

Coming inside, the 2022 WRX interior gets a 7-inch touchscreen, Apple CarPlay and Android Auto smartphone connectivity, SiriusXM radio, HD Radio, etc. Moving on to higher trims the touchscreen is upgraded to an 11.6-inch screen while an 11-speaker Harman and Kardon sound system remains optional. Other available features on the new WRX include a moonroof, power-adjustable driver’s seat, heated front seats, auto headlights, etc. 

Standard safety features offered on the 2022 WRX include adaptive cruise control, rearview camera, auto hold, etc. Apart from these standard features if you opt for the CVT gearbox then the base trim also gains Subaru EyeSight Driver Assist technology. While other safety features available on higher trims include blind-spot monitor, lane change assist, rear cross-traffic alert, reverse automatic braking, etc. The 2022 Subaru WRX in its segment rivals the likes of Hyundai Elantra N, Volkswagen Golf GTI, Honda Civic Si, and Volkswagen Jetta GLI
