Lincoln recently unveiled the 2022 Lincoln Zephyr at Auto Guangzhou, 2021. Based on a Concept car, the 2022 Zephyr comes equipped with a whole lot of Technology and an extremely futuristic look, the only traditional remain being its powertrain, a 2.0L turbocharged inline 4 engine. Priced at an estimated $40,000 it will be offered on it to the Chinese market for now and its availability in the US market hasn't been revealed yet.

Lincoln as a brand has always been about stunning design, advanced technology, and world-class products, the all-new Zephyr features a reimagined design for the millennials in China as the target audience. Collaborating expertise from California and intense research from China, the 2022 Lincoln Zephyr offers an intelligent experience of future driving. Set to release in the first quarter of next year for the Chinese market, there is no news around the official release for the US markets.

The drivetrain it uses seems to be unclear but for its powertrain, there is a turbocharged 2.0-liter inline-4 engine paired to an 8-speed transmission, no hybrid or electric components are part of this car. The power and performance specs have not yet been disclosed. This apart the brand further emphasizes on a sense of ceremony. This is a design theme and a complete experience that is delivered to the customers right from when they approach the car till they exit it.

This sense of ceremony starts with the star-shaped logo lighting up followed by the headlamps turning on as you approach the car, after which the Lincoln Zephyr’s welcome mat illumines the ground for you. The sense of comfort is then carried over by the four available modes, 128 ambiance color lighting options, and digital scents. This helps deliver an exclusive and personalized feel to the customer. This apart, the 2022 Lincoln Zephyr features 27-inch infotainment screen and a 12.3-inch digital cluster that spans the width of the dashboard.

The infotainment system has the feature of multi-touch operations and has gesture commands. It also comes with the feature of “The Future Letter”, wherein one can choose to display specific content at a scheduled time. Infotainment software will feature and all exclusive phase 4 SYNC+ systems. Tech goodies will include the Lincoln Co-Pilot 360 2.0 System and the Lincoln ActiveGlide are offered to help enable L2+ Driving Assist capability. Adding to the drive experience are the solo, co-pilot, and individual intelligent operation modes.

The exteriors further witness a full-width LED strip in the front fascia that continues from the elongated headlamps all the way to the Lincoln Star logo, illuminating the entire front end while also portraying a futuristic feel. With a wheelbase that measures 114.17 inches, the 2022 Lincoln Zephyr offers significant room for its passengers in the front and rear row of seats. The entire experience is completely passenger driven and so are the digital controls placed ergonomically. It is expected to come at a price tag of $40,000. However, there is no information about its release in the US markets as of now.
