The list starts just under $20,000 and the cheapest car we have starts below $15,000.

The ten cheapest cars with an automatic gearbox have been arranged based on the price of their entry-level model. The list starts with the Nissan Kicks crossover and has only Hyundai Venue as the other crossover that made the list. The list is dominated as usual by Korean like Hyundai and Kia, and Japanese carmakers like Nissan and Mitsubishi. Although the biggest surprise is the sole car which is also the cheapest is from an American car brand.

10. 2022 Nissan Kicks

The 2022 Nissan Kicks is the least affordable car with an automatic gearbox on our list. The compact crossover is offered in the three trims namely S, SV, and SR. The base trim starts at $19,990. The latter two start at $21,850 and $22,550 respectively. The Kicks S trim can be financed starting at 3.99 percent APR for 60-month which comes at $391/month. The lease of the same starts at $338/month for 36-month with $338 due at signing.
