The 2022 Cayenne S coupe will be mainly a carry-forward model and mechanically would be identical to the ongoing model. It will be powered by a 2.9L twin-turbocharged V-6 engine producing 434 hp and nearly 405 lb-ft of torque. The engine will be mated to an 8-speed Tiptronic S automatic transmission with manual actuation or automatic mode. The transmission offers fast-shifting speeds and reduces traction interruption as compared to the previous generation Cayenne. The transmission is also known to transfer high torque even at low speeds which can be beneficial for towing as well. 

The optional Sport Chrono Package can improve the performance of the already fast Cayenne S and it can do a 0-60 mph in 4.7 seconds and a quarter-mile drag will be completed in about 14.4 seconds. Without the package, it does 0-60 mph in about 5.1 seconds and a quarter-mile drag takes about 14.6 seconds. The Cayenne S is a big car but luckily it does not allow all that bulk to be a hindrance in your cornering experience. The handling is just precise and very car-like. The availability of AWD configuration as standard would inspire confidence on different road surfaces. The optional air suspension system can make your ride even more comfortable.

The BMW and Audi SUVs are equipped with much larger engines than the Cayenne S coupe. The Audi Q8 in its RS avatar is the most powerful SUV of the lot and offers mind-boggling acceleration as well. Also, the best range is offered by the GLE 53 coupe owing to a larger fuel tank capacity and better fuel economy than others. The Porsche comes second in the range battle despite having the largest fuel tank capacity of the lot, followed by X6 M50i and RS Q8. 

The 2022 Porsche Cayenne will remain unchanged from the inside and will offer similar features as the outgoing model. The dashboard layout is ergonomic with all the functions within the easy reach of front passengers. The instrument console consists of two high-resolution displays and a central black dial analog tachometer adds to its sporty intentions. The 2022 BMW X6 M50i is a very tempting package for sure. It offers many features for less as compared to the Cayenne S coupe. It offers better performance and is equipped with a bigger engine. It also offers better fuel efficiency as well. It offers a larger cargo capacity than the Cayenne S and interior space is very identical in both the SUVs. The GLE 53 Coupe also offers better safety features as standard in comparison to the limited list of features on the Cayenne S coupe. 

The 2022 Porsche Cayenne S Coupe will be a no-compromise SUV in terms of performance and luxury. It inherits all the lovable characteristics of Porsche like lively handling, lightweight construction, and timeless Porsche styling.
