2017 ford explorer Overview
The 2017 Ford Explorer has a lot to offer in five distinctive trim levels including the base, XLT, Limited, Sport, and Platinum, available with three different engines. This three-row crossover SUV has two V6 engines and an Ecoboost turbocharged I-4, all paired with a six-speed automatic transmission. The outstanding quietness and a quality cabin elevate this practical do-all crossover to be a top contender in the segment. The 2017 Explorer is versatile too, with a lot of options to configure. You can keep things relatively basic or go downright luxurious.
The second-row bench can be replaced with a captain's chair and there is a lot of cargo space standard. For 2017, The Ford Explorer keeps everything the same, except bringing a new XLT Sport Appearance package. Offering some of the Sport's trim styling upgrades, the package adds features like 20-inch Magnetic Gray wheels, a Magnetic Gray grille, mirror caps, Ebony Black bodyside cladding, and more. Interior also gets Dark Earth Gray leather front seats and door trim, contrast stitching, and more. The 2017 Ford Explorer's prices begin from $31,160 and go up to $53,235. In the price range, Chevrolet Traverse, Toyota highlander, and GMC Acadia go straight against the Ford Explorer.
