2018 bmw x5 Overview
The 2018 BMW X5 is available for sale and comes in two trims- 35i and 50i. The base 35i has a starting price of $57,200 while the 50i model is priced at $74,050. The X5 is also available in diesel (35d) and plug-in hybrid (40e) avatars. Two engines are on offer for the X5, a 300-hp turbo-6 engine and a 445-hp V8 engine. Power comes in strong even with the base engine equipped and takes 6.2 seconds to sprint from 0-60 MPH. Power and speed lovers, look for the 567-hp X5 M with a sprint time of 4 seconds.
Except for the power levels, the specs and features of both trims are almost the same. The X5's cabin is adult-friendly while its infotainment system is the best in the business. With a maximum cargo space of 76.7 cubic feet, the X5's practicality is average in the segment. This year, BMW has added a rearview camera as a standard safety feature.
