2018 volkswagen passat Overview
The 2018 Volkswagen Passat is a midsize sedan offered in 6 trims, starting off at a base MSRP of $22,995. For that price, it mainly competes with the Ford Fusion, the Mazda 6, and the Subaru Legacy. If more power is required, there is also a 280 horsepower-making 3.6L V6 engine. Both engines are mated to 6-speed automatic transmissions. Depending on the powertrain, the Passat can manage a combined fuel economy of between 22 and 29 mpg.
